UOME project installation

Our Culture

Built Different.
By Design.

We didn't build UOME to be another window company. We built it because we were tired of the way window companies operated — and we knew there was a better way.

The Origin

We Went Looking for the Right Partner. We Couldn't Find One. So We Became It.

Tanner Cromar founded UOME after years of watching builders — good builders — get let down by window and door companies that couldn't hold a schedule, couldn't communicate clearly, and couldn't install what they sold.

He built UOME on the opposite premise: full ownership of the scope, an in-house install team that never subcontracts, and a supply chain built around the best German-engineered uPVC systems available in North America.

UOME became the sole American distributor and certified installer for Aluplast — not because it was the easiest path, but because Aluplast builds the system that performs. Thermal insulation, acoustic performance, structural integrity. No compromises.

How We Operate

The Four Things
We Don't Negotiate

01

We Own The Scope

From order to installation, we control every variable. That's not a pitch — it's the only way to deliver what we promise. When something goes wrong in this industry, it's usually because nobody owned it. We do.

02

No Subs. No Excuses.

Every crew member works for UOME directly. We don't subcontract the hard parts or hand off accountability mid-job. We hire people who love the craft and keep them close.

03

Schedule is Sacred

Your build timeline isn't a suggestion. We align to it, track it, and protect it — even when the industry norm is to miss it. If we commit to a date, that date is real.

04

Built Honest

We tell you what a job will take and what it will cost. No soft numbers, no scope creep, no surprises. If there's a problem, you hear it from us first — with a solution already in hand.

The Builder's Mentality

We Show Up Before the Job Starts

We walk the opening before we measure it. We review the architect's intent before we specify. We understand the build sequence before we lock in a delivery date.

Most window companies show up with product and a crew. We show up with context — and that's the difference between an install that goes in right the first time and one that creates problems for six months.

We work closely with builders, GCs, architects, and designers who value a subcontractor that thinks like an owner. If that's your standard, we should talk.
