The Vision
St. George's long summers make shade as important as sunlight. The architectural opportunity is to frame the red-rock setting and bring daylight deep into the home without overwhelming the spaces inside.
The Result
In the Southern Utah desert, a broad glass opening changes how a room experiences the outdoors. At Pointed View, the photography moves between sheltered interior spaces and the open air, letting the architecture frame light, texture, and distant terrain without losing its sense of refuge.
The connection between shaded rooms and the landscape gives this home its distinct rhythm.
