Talking Rock
Residential Project
The Vision
Prescott's high-desert setting invites a different relationship between the house and the outdoors. Strong sun, open skies, and the textures of the surrounding landscape call for openings that welcome daylight while keeping comfort in view.
The Result
At Talking Rock, glass frames moments of the Arizona landscape from within the architecture. Large openings draw the eye outward and allow living spaces to feel connected to their natural surroundings. The interplay of shade, transparency, and light offers a quiet approach to indoor-outdoor living in the high desert.
Thoughtfully placed windows and doors can make the landscape feel present throughout a home, while keeping energy-conscious design part of the conversation.
